PTOC sprint after the MTB course. The rule was to stay on trails (which include some unmapped mowed trails in the open area). That made the cousre long and not really a "sprint", but it was fun. I was tired from biking and the warm/humid conditions.

Fun, but I was going a bit slowly, especially in the beginning. I need a lot of work on my riding - too slow on the turns and too slow anytime the trails were rough.

Night score O' at Prairie Center. The forest was kind of junky. The creek was deep and I didn't want to cross except at the crossing points.

Mass start + skip any 2 controls. Some snow on the ground. The snow was nice to run on but was getting slippery towards the end. Lots of sloppy orienteering after about the first 3 legs.

Lots of new trails that aren't shown on the map. The footing was a bit slow - rain last night made some of the trails slow. I ran ok, but go tired in the last third. I ran 58. Ulrik ran 41. 41 seems pretty fast to me. I'm thinking that at my best I was running 7/km at BG. That'd have been 45 minutes.
